Duties: Full Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Duties including all invoicing, daily entry of cash sales and bill payments. Development and deployment of full inventory system with liaison to the inventory auditors of the LCBO. Full monthly filing of all RST, LCBO, VQA, Excise Tax and AGCO activities with remittances. Quarterly filing of GST. Monthly reporting of cash flow activities and needs to owner. Full operations of retail store. Design and implementation of print advertising, brochures, store signage, e-mail campaigns and internal forms.

Responsible for all marketing activities including advertising purchasing, creative and layout preparation. Liaison with various other tourism partners to create dynamic, multidisciplinary packages between complimentary businesses in the tourism industry. Attend meetings of supporting tourism committees including the St. Catharines Tourism Advisory Committee.Trade show participation and follow-up relationship maintenance with tour operators. Meet and greet with group leaders, brides to be and meeting planners with reservation and rental inquiries. Up selling of product at point of inquiry/reservation and maintaining labour costs through the tight scheduling of group arrivals. Maintain the system of group bookings for tours and rentals of our facility. Supervision of floor staff including our interpreters (tour guides) while maintaining their schedule to match the needs of our booked tours. Supervision and training of Smart Serve Program as per AGCO guidelines.Accounts receivable and payable input and administration for all retail operations. WSIB, garnishment and PST remittances for all operations. Computer hardware and software diagnostics as well as server administration. Daily sales balancing and reporting of point of sale transactions. Assisting manager of finance and administration with various senior level projects including grant proposal preparation and budgeting information preparation. Responsible for the obtaining and development of new customers for the commercial flower sales business unit.
