Group Continuous Improvement Executive

Lean transformational change leader, Leading Improvement Projects and initiatives using key tools including 5S, Standard Work, SMED, RCA, FMEA, VSM, Kaizen. Focus on both Manufacturing and non-manufacturing processes within the organisation.Developing and monitoring key performance metrics towards site objectives through all levels of the organisation.Training and Capability building around the use of Lean Tools and techniques. Mentoring & Coaching other project leaders.

Responsible for directing, leading and management of a team to meet predetermined targets achieving optimum productivity with high emphasis on quality. Ensure implementation and conformance to the manufacturing documentation and procedures.Compliance with the relevant industry and Company quality standards and the cGMP pertaining to production.Key interface with all other departments Department and their operations. This includes engineering, facilities, quality, HR, Customers & Mgt.Assistance in the development, maintenance and review of all documentation and to augment training, compliance and cGMP in Production Department (SOPs, MIs, training records).Responsible for general requirements of members of team under my supervision – This includes interviewing potential new employees, time management (wages etc), Training, Appraisals, reviews etc.Project work – Have managed and participated various projects in a variety of departments bringing about many improvements and real savings to the company.I am involved with continuous improvement department planning and implementing many CI projects on an ongoing basis.

Managed production operations at Megazymes Manufacturing facility in Bray, Main responsibilities included:Procurement, Validation and maintanence of all process equipment used in the roduction facility at Megazyme.Planning, Purchasing, Production, Packaging were all under my responsibility.Other responsibilities included Health and Safety, Waste management, R+D and trials of potential new marketable products.Quality control and Stock management and documentation included as part of my role.

Assembly of sorting equipment used in the agricultural and food industry.Testing Re-work and quality control of all equipment assembled.
