Paul has a background in community projects, is qualified in care management, project and programme management, and has a first class honours degree in Mathematics and Physics. He has a strong interest in philosophy; and in ideas and systems that have brought cultural changes to society throughout the centuries. He has developed the mission, vision, values and ethics of the organisation and attempted to be a role model for a culture of Excellence. Paul with his team have been involved in ensuring the organisation’s management system is developed, implemented and continuously improved.Paul, together with Susie and the management team, have consulted with customers, partners and representatives of society to ensure all services are person centred.Paul fervently believes that to implement his vision for Sunshine Care services, which has for its foundation the two principles of “enabling people to take control of their lives and helping them make a positive contribution to the lives of others”, he has to develop a stakeholder-focused strategy that takes account of the poor funding and unsettled market and sector in which we operate. Policies, plans, objectives, and processes are developed and deployed to deliver this ambitious strategy.Paul writes: I am most grateful for my team who work with me to care for those with difficult physical, emotional, mental and spiritual conditions and complex needs in our community. I believe in my team who have been carefully selected and who have a calling to care compassionately for others.
