Currently serving as an Armourer sergeant with a level 5 in engineering maintenance, Level 4 CMI in management but I will be leaving the Army in August 2021. Based at an aviation unit in Suffolk, working on 30mm chain guns and various small arms. Man managing a team of Armourers of various skill and experience levels. I have a keen interest in motorbike mechanics and have recently completed a suspension course which I hope to benefit from when working with the Army road race motorbike team. I also carry out NDT PFD testing and critical measuring and inspection of safety critical components on weapon systems. I have over 12 years hands on experience with inspections and repairs on many types of equipment and also have take on the role of instruction for the new soldiers I have in unit.
