Setup stores computer system, ABC Inventory, from scratch, including the input of all data, suppliers and locations. Creating this system allowed me to work out the full cost of the engines allowing for an accurate selling price maximising profit. Also, this allowed me to reduce the stock level saving money, better buying practices helping cash flow and for the accurate stocking of products which helped reduce the build time from 3 months to 3 weeks. Organised the stores adding racking & shelving , allowing for FIFO of parts & easy access for most common used items. Project Managed the re-location of the machine shop with a £12K budget, 10 various CNC machines and lathes as well as all benches and workstations. This included designing the floor plan, organising building & electrical work and the re-installation of machines. Attend meetings & exhibitions to meet suppliers for current purchasing & future projects. Assembly and configuration of engine parts, Weber carburetors, distributors, fuel filters, injectors, throttle assembly and other small components. Oversee the IT system hardware, liaising with remote IT support. Achieved Counterbalance forklift license.
