This is a wide ranging role which covers the following.- Collating the Monthly financial position and forecast for the trust and reporting it to regulators.- Co-ordinating the finacial planning process for the trust and submitting it to regulators.- Finance lead on 2 building projects for the trust, including the £20m state of the art A&E.- Innovation lead for the Finance department at the trust.

Current working with the Surgical Division covering Theatres, Critical Care, Trauma and Orthpaedics and Medical staffing.I previously covered the Medical Division, with an interest in Acute Med, Geriatrics, Diabetes, Cardiology, Respiratory and Gastroenterology.My main role includes the following- Supporting and managing Capital planning and projects - Business planning- Forecasting and Sensitivity analysis- Month end reporting- Supporting and managing business cases- Providing support and advice to budget holders and budget managers

- Meeting with budget holders- Project work- Producing monthly management accounts- Forecasting

- Producing monthly budget reports for the Clinical Service units - Currently looking after the budgets for Womens Services and Radiology.- Meeting with budget holders to discuss their budget reports and provide them with advice- Completing adhoc queries for budget holds including costing and building spreadsheets to provide them with Data.

Key Achievements• I created a system for collecting due and overdue Retention payments that were owed to the company. This netted £13,000 of outstanding payments within the first 4 weeks, plus a further outstanding £11,500 of payments in the 4 months after.• Using my Sage 50 and Sage Payroll knowledge I have linked the nominal codes, which has resulted in Wage, NIC and PAYE being applied to the nominal ledgers automatically. This has saved time on a monthly basis manually calculating the submissions to HMRC.• Re-couped an outstanding £1.5m in six months from large contractors through improved efficiencies.Responsibilities and experience• Sales ledger and credit control using Sage to chase outstanding debt and contacting customers to discuss outstanding debt.• Experience in dealing with court applications when a debt is excessively overdue.• Invoice processing on Sage for both Sales and Purchase ledger.• Inputting sales orders on Sage and also setting up of new products when required.• Completing weekly wages and monthly salary submissions using Sage Payroll.• Completing VAT and CIS submissions.• Bank account reconciliation.

•Dealing directly with customers to find solutions to account problems.•Working with the banking complaints team, which reacts to complaints received by post, email, social and referred from branches. My target is to resolve at least ten cases per day within 2 working days of receipt, which I always reach and more often surpass.•Act as a point of referral for other colleagues and advisers within the bank, including the media team, which requires strong and confident communication skills.•Provide cover for team leaders as a subject matter expert.
