While I was employed in Schefenacker vision systems I was responsible for the Warranty Returns, my main duties were• Setup and maintain the Warranty return system• Arrange weekly meetings with customers such as Nissan , Jaguar , Ford , MG Rover to discuss and inspect the customer returns and discuss liability of faulty components• Liaise with suppliers to drive through corrective action plans to support the day to day running of the production line• Investigate any issues and implement corrective actions by using quality tools like 8D• Involvement with product FMEA teams• React to customer issues that arise by visiting the manufacturing site and investigating the problem then implementing the necessary containment actions and permanent correct actions• Testing of the mirrors in a quality controlled laboratory environmentAchievements while at Schefenacker Vision Systems• Reduce the warranty liability from 37% to under 10% across the range• Setup of the warranty department• Setup of a successful warranty chargeback system • Part of a small team that transferred the quality system from ISO 9000 to TS16949 within SVS UK• Setup of the new IMDS (international material data system)
