Participation in the DOE Energy Star program to minimize the amount of electrical energy used throughout the facility.4) Design and installation of an Un-Interruptible Power Supply (UPS) system to provide critical power to the facility's Information Systems area. This extensive project included cost estimation and analysis, design and development of systems, bid-evaluation criteria, contractor and vendor selection, and technical oversight of the project. I developed preventive maintenance schedules, and arranged for maintenance training of electrical personnel to support the critical installation.
