Prepare requests-for-proposals (RFP) for construction contracts; evaluate and review designs, drawings, contract proposals, material and equipment submittals.Interact with architects and engineering team for multi-million dollar infrastructure construction, medical centers, hospitals, schools and colleges, army garrisons, and provide electrical engineering support to the US Army and to the nation of Afghanistan.

Project manager / engineer on several facility renovations including upgrade to vestibule/entrance at ARTCC, numerous additions / modifications to the Control Room, telecommunications support area, new site trailer installation and power/transformer installation, TPO roofing upgrades to many of the facility buildings, COR / COTR duties for complex equipment installations.

Provided contract oversight for Base Maintenance contractor for renovations and modifications for over 800 buildings at Kirtland AFB, NM. Provided electrical design review and electrical code analysis for various project requests by tenant organizations at Kirtland AFB. Supported various staff engineers and architects by managing AF Form 332's that were submitted by tenants for proposed facility renovations; performed cost analysis and projected cash flows for proposed construction activities;

Participation in committee meetings and review records of providers of brain injury services in NewMexico. Provide input into oversight of funds from Brain Injury allocation from citations for trafficviolations in New Mexico.

Reduction in facility electric costs of $1.4 million / year from energy-saving project design, upgrades, and implementation over a five-year period;1) Design and development of a new lighting control system for the 2,500 occupants of the 530,000 square foot facility, featuring PLC-controlled independent lighting schedules for 200 office areas, engineering labs and production areas. Incorporated cost estimation and analysis, engineering design and implementation, technical oversight of installation, and validation and verification of system savings.2) The upgrade of over 7,000 fluorescent lighting fixtures to utilize electronic ballasts and reduced wattage lamps. Included concept development, parametric cost estimation and analysis, development of bid evaluation criteria, selection of contractors and vendors, and technical oversight during installation and acceptance of project. 3) Electrical engineering and design for various transmission & distribution projects of electrical services throughout the facility. Validation and verification of compliance with MIL-STD requirements for power quality and established standards of power availability and power quality. Participation in the DOE Energy Star program to minimize the amount of electrical energy used throughout the facility.4) Design and installation of an Un-Interruptible Power Supply (UPS) system to provide critical power to the facility's Information Systems area. This extensive project included cost estimation and analysis, design and development of systems, bid-evaluation criteria, contractor and vendor selection, and technical oversight of the project. I developed preventive maintenance schedules, and arranged for maintenance training of electrical personnel to support the critical installation.

Assist in flight tracking operations, recording mission status, battle-damage assessments, and coordinating with maintenance operations, base operations, and mobile officers with ground control of aircraft.Training as an intelligence analyst for two years with the Intelligence group preparing mission briefs to the pilots, upgrading threat information, and continuous research and study of operations plans, published operation orders, advances in aircraft, technology, tactics, intelligence information to assist the command staff and pilots to be 'situationally aware' with recent beneficial intelligence.
