MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Observes, monitors and communicates with worksite personnel regarding HSE issues• Works with the OMT, Site Management and line Supervision to enable that these leaders are delivering their responsibilities in respect of HSEQ • Monitor the effectiveness of the HSEQ processes as applied at the worksite and coach users on how to drive compliance and optimise the benefits of the process (RA, PTW, MOC, CSB, TBT, TOFS, Observations, Interventions…)• Monitor compliance against the Safe Systems of Work processes in particular compliance and quality checks• Participate in TBT and monitor effectiveness and coach improvements and build delivery confidence on focussed information.• Involved in HSE inspections with the worksite Managers and Supervisors to confirm effective SSoW implementation.• Coaches the effective application of interventions which balance positive and improvement discussions which confirm an agreed way forward• Focus on coaching application post training.• Be prepared to call a TOFS and actively support and promote this process at the worksite• Attend morning meetings / shift briefings and/or safety meetings and provide safety input as required.• Coach the Managers and Supervisors on the use of all Subsea7 HSEQ Tools as example Synergi and where required assist development of tailored dashboards and ensure personnel are conversant with this tool Monitor compliance, share good practices, correct and commend and encourage all HSE reporting approaches (Observations, Interventions, Reporting incidents and near misses…)• learn from those around me that have knowledge that will benefit and better me.

Understand and respect the various cultural differences on the rig. Help develop a team spirit and respect for each other. Ensure compliance of Company’s Operational and Safety Procedures (OSP). Assist in Incident Investigation and Action Point(s) close-out. Become the Incident Free (IF) Champion. Participate in the IF Rig Leadership Team. Participate in the Weekly HSE Conference call with OIM (STP), DSV, DS, Snr. HSE Safety Coach, DC Rig Manager. Periodically review the SIMOPS and Bridging documents for any lapses or areas for improvement. Enhance the utilisation, understanding of, and compliance of PTW, and where applicable, that of company. In conjunction with the DC’s Safety Officer, help facilitate pre-tour meetings, and safety meetings. Involved with: DROPS Campaign, including daily checks on the deck cranes. Working at Heights. Use and effectiveness of JSAs, PJSA, TBT. Lifting Equipment Register, regular inspection and recertification of such equipment. Lift plans and general lifting practices. Help identify any shortfalls in the safety aspects of their PMS. In conjunction with the EDC Safety Officer, help facilitate pre-tour meetings, and safety meetings. Capture learning’s from drills (H2S, Fire, abandon rig etc). Red Zones. Tools at Height. Tubular Handling. Assist where called upon in the development of a HSE Safety Case.

Monitor the application of safe working practices; Preparation of risk assessments in conjunction with the Marine Operations Assistant Superintendent and Supervisors; Co-ordinate and attend safety meetings and discuss any areas of concern; Take part in all accident / incident or near miss investigations which occur on the vessel and maintain records; prepare formal reports; Ensure that the workforce is kept updated with safety related information; Provide advice to the Marine Operations Superintendent and Vessel Master on all matters relating to safety; induction training; Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe manner and in adherence to the Company safety policy, statutory regulations and guidelines; Monitor and audit the vessel’s permit to work system.

Involved in the development of Cyclone procedures/document creation; Personnel movement & sheltering, Updating of induction presentation, carrying out inductions, Safety inspections/walks. Report writing; Accident/incident investigation; Monitoring of HSE Management Plan; Ensuring that the HSE Management Plan is understood & followed; Participate in Daily Management meetings. Participate in safety meetings; Involved in pre-audits. Participate in JHA’s and risk assessments. Create toolbox talks. Monitor the standards of safety. Helping prepare JHA’s, getting them read and signed. Helping Prepare toolbox’s; give toolbox. Get take 5's completed. Attending Pre-starts. Involved in HSE meetings Help to get the permit to work system, Confined space entry, JHA, take 5 and all other paperwork running better. Provide safety information Ensure personnel comply with safety requirements, explaining those requirements where necessary. Help with audit close out.

I worked on the Miller Platform during decommissioning operations when the conductors were being removed (bio hazard was a potential risk). Banksman & Slinger duties. Also when working on the Harding Jack-up I would go out with the HSE team on a daily basis. I have also worked in the shaker house, pump room and chemical mixing department. I was trained on the forklift, working at height, painted in the drilling package and worked on the drill floor as a Roughneck.

Banksman and Slinger duties. Carried out Safety duties such as risk assessments with HSE team. Working with cranes & supply vessles (good communications required) for offloading and back loading heavy equipment, dangerious goods etc. Used all typed of lifting equipment from canvas strops to pendants and everything in between. Making sure loads are secure for carriage. Moving drill pipe around the pipe deck and up to drill floor. Worked on drill floor, trained in man-rider, using equipment such as man-riding tugger and fall arrest harnesses. Used high pressure guns.
