My most recent position was with the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, as an administrative assistant with the Logistics & Deployment team. The team was responsible for the planning and scheduling of quality enhancement reviews in universities and Higher Education colleges, both within the UK and overseas. Duties included liasing with institutions in order to schedule visit dates, the selection of teams of auditors and subsequently providing the team with full administrative support throughout the audit; sending out letters, booking travel & hotels, processing expense claims and the distribution of final audit reports. This gave me an opportunity to greatly enhance my project management skills, particularly when planning and organising an overseas audit to Singapore in early 2011. This involved the management of the entire visit for a team of 9 auditors; booking hotels, flights, local taxi transfers, plus the scheduling of audits at 20 seperate institutions across Singapore over a 10 day period.
