Currently looking for work /Siemens Gamesa as a crane operator/rigger/supervisor. Since October 2016 I have been working at the factory in hull as part of a small lifting team. Moving wind turbine blades, and other large components around the factory as and when required in a safe manner that gives hundred percent focus and the attention when lifting. All the lifts are complex and dual lifts because of the shear size and weight of the components weighting 50 tone plus,and 75 metres ln distance. My role also involves supervising the lifts ensuring the safety off the team and the lift in progress and others that may be involved. Ensuring lift plans are correct ,signed ,understud , and a team brief before commencing the lift. I have also been training team members to a high standard, that have join the lifting teams across the factory. using my experience, skills and knowledge that i have gained over the years in the power industry. Making sure the team members are aware of adequate knowledge of all liftplans,lifting equipment , components, cranes, machinery, ,LOLER,PUWER,ACOP ,Regulation.I consider myself to be versatile,extremely motivated and flexible individual who remains focused and dedicated at all times. I am a very competent person in my position as a crane op/rigger/supervisor/plant operator. previous work experience With many years of experience i covered the major contracts working on power stations,oil Refinerys and various major construction projects throughout the UK and IRELAND. Driving gantry cranes/rigging/driving plant machinery, working along side Alstom,ge,and siemens for there major overhauls on gas turbines, stripping the machines down. Moving components with transport, lifting and moving components to lay down areas, these were critical lifts as they weight between 1to 128 tones so their is no room for error. I have worked on 9fb,9fe,9fa,gt13,xxl13 steamers. All for ge/Alstom/siemens/centrica/sse/edf nuclearerAll certs in date
