A seasoned and versatile IT Consultant with over 30 years experience in IT, of which 20 years have been in IBM Websphere MQ and associated infrastructure.In the last 5 years I have moved into the automation space and become a Technical Project Manager on automation projects improving customer experience. As well as planning, documenting and participating in business continuity operations where these solutions are proven. Also designing and implementing global middleware monitoring solutions, and managing storage and compute infrastructure projects. More recently I identify automation opportunities and lead a team as Technical Project Manager to develop solutions to reduce manual workload. I am responsible for analysing the current business processes, gathering the requirements, and designing the user interface; ensuring that it comprehensively meets the needs of the customer. Also a certified AWS Solutions Architect with platform experience on on Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, Windows, OpenVMS, IBM iSeries and zSeries. Clients have been in telecommunications, defence, manufacturing and supply chains, but predominantly in banking.I have held a DV clearance on two previous occasions.
