I also performed electrical system studies and electrical equipment sizing calculations. The position transitioned into transmission system protective relaying where I provided relay setting calculations and field technical support for 25kV substations, 69kV, 138kV, and 345kV transmission lines and associated substations and switching stations for approximately one quarter of the company’s transmission system, including the Fort Worth Metroplex area.• Performed electrical relay coordination study complete with revised relay settings for a large surface mine site• Revised protective relaying philosophy for 4 old gas/oil fired generating units being restored to operation
