Paul is a senior security and investigations consultant. He oversees complex commercial investigations on behalf of clients. These include fraud, cyber security, regulatory and extortion matters. He is considered to be an expert in ’social engineering’ and human factor security. Routinely providing expert audit and compliance advice to legal, risk and insurance industry partners.Previously Paul has operated as a counter terrorism Special Advisor to the UK government. His expertise meant he had responsibility for working across departments, providing security and crisis advice at ministerial level. This included attending Cabinet Office briefings (COBRA) as required.A senior leader within New Scotland Yard. He was responsible for the management of serious matters such as cyber extortion, terrorism and criminal financing. He also led the UK Hostage Negotiation response to international terrorism matters.Paul is a lecturer on counter-terrorism, cyber counter-terrorism, intelligence and analysis with the University of Cranfield Defence Academy. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP). He holds current memberships with ASIS, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
