Joining Wanner in 2004 as Managing Director, the company had an incredible product which could create real value for customers. Having a strong background in technical business development in process industries, getting involved with customers processes, understanding what they wanted to achieve, allowed me to connect with customers in the many industries the Hydra-Cell pump technology could be used in. This, along with driving customer service levels, has enabled a sustained AAGR of over 14%. Selecting and developing people in the WI team has also been important to the success. Making sure we have a high level of technical and process competency and a desire within the team to make sure customers get what they require, when they require it. This has enable business to develop from a European base into regions such as India, Middle East, North Africa, Russia & CIS countries.Going forward our challenge as a team is staying connected with the changing requirements of what customers really need. This will be crucial to the continued development of the company and the people within it.
