Extensive expertise in both the supervision and commissioning of the Mechanical & Electrical building services installations with 20 years’ experience as an M&E Services Manager / Commissioning Manager having served my electrical apprenticeship with the ESB, qualified and worked initially as an electrician in the UK and later as an electrical contractor in Australia on major construction projects, predominantly in the Fire Alarm Systems field. On my return to Ireland I progressed to Electrical Commissioning Manager successfully completing large building contracts like Ballina Beverages Plant (Coca Cola) and Boston Scientific (Galway). I took up the position of M&E Services Coordinator with John Sisk & Son Ltd (2000 to 2009 & 2019 to 2020) and BAM Building Ltd (2009 to 2018) and am also engaged on a project by project basis with a number of Main Building Contractors such as John Paul Construction, Purcell Construction, Monami Construction, Stewart Construction and Conack Construction to name but a few. I am an excellent communicator and work closely with the client & design team on all services issues, including early resolution of service queries to avoid programme disruption and to ensure that the project is completed in compliance with specifications, on schedule and within budget. I always respond in a highly professional manner to the construction team’s requirements. I develop strong relationships with both fellow staff members and senior subcontracting personnel alike. I am always committed to my employer and continue to serve its interests to the best of his ability.
