I am focused on learning more about their HSE program, systems and operations so we can identify opportunities (gap analysis) to improve the safety culture; and drive smarter, improved and sustainable environmental processes to move the needle from "good to great!"

Philippines

DynCorp-International, Philippines Operations Support. Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO); Quality Assurance, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager (QHSE); Safety Engineer. Provide support to Joint Operations Task Force – Philippines, Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) mission. Assist and advise U.S. and Philippine Special Forces at numerous main base and forward operating locations; responsible for ensuring compliance, optimizing health, safety and environmental efforts in the delivery of services. Provided services include base operations, engineering services, life support, logistics, fixed and rotary wing airlift and flight operations. Iraq

Built performance based metrics for $1B government contract providing primary, surgical and supportive health care in Iraq. Monitored medical operations at thirteen geographically seperate sites delivering healthcare to ensure compliance with contract requirements and healthcare standards.Responsible for Public Health programs; ensuring the quality and safety of food and water throughout Iraq,Managed a Mortuary Affairs Team reponsible for repatriation of remains.

Panama City, Fl

Directed and managed multiple, contingency engineering, operations, maintenance, construction and services task orders for US Iraqi Freedom at Joint Base Balad, Camp Taji, Sather AB, Al Asad, Kirkuk, Adder/Talil, and Victory Base Complex; and numerous outside the wire locations in Iraq. • Directed O&M, construction task orders at Camp Taji and Sather AB; provided Incinerator Operations and Recycling at JBB.• Installed a power plant for the Department of State at their New Embassy Complex in Baghdad; using a local national labor team with Egyptian, Turkish, Indian and Jordanian engineers and supervisors. • Managed six teams of environmental and safety response and cleanup teams assigned to six different locations throughout Iraq; each team had US and multi-national team members, primarily Indian, Filipino, and Nepalese. All of these teams respond to incidents in their area of responsibility, including outside the wire locations. • Transitioned a construction project in Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The construction team consisted of Turkish and Afghani workers tasked with renovating several existing facilities and constructing three new facilities.

Iraq

Served in Iraq supporting U.S. and Coalition Forces as an Incident Commander. Responded throughout the theater, inside and outside the wire to assess potentially harmful materials that posed a potential threat to Coalition Forces and civilians. Developed numerous innovative environmental solutions to eliminate waste streams, reclaim hazardous materials, recycle materials and treat hazardous waste. Personally recognized by our military client on several occasions for “consummate professionalism, selfless dedication to duty, and commitment to excellence.”

Provided Business Development support in delivery of contingency medical, safety and environmental health services. Drafted, edited proposals; marketed services; transitioned operations. Developed concept of operations for deployment medical operations; executed plan for commercial clients operating in contingency environments.

Developed and implemented the company internal safety and environmental health program for a multi-site employer; succesfully marketed EH&S services to support Fortune 200 companies. Program efforts resulted in the award of VPP Star at two NASA sites.
