I have overall responsibility for setting up, developing and running Swim Ireland's High Performance training squad based at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin. This role involves coaching the squad personally, managing a team of support personnel and over seeing the integration of the services they provide in to the overall programme. Additionally I liase with the facilty on the ongoing development of an elite culture that will support the development of Swim Ireland's High Performance goals. Finally, I operate a HP Development Squad for young athletes starting off on their journey, aimed at eduacting them on the necessary behaviours required to reach ones true potential.

In my role as Head Coach I had overall reponsibility for developing and implementing the club's swimming strategy across the areas of elite level performance, long term athlete development and education. I personally coached the club's Top Squad and played an active role on a daily basis with the Age Group and Development programmes. I line manged the club's excellent group of part time staff to cover all the coaching hours and played an active role in the general administration of a club consisting of nearly 200 members.
