Portfolio - https://sites.google.com/andrew.cmu.edu/paul-dreyerResume - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wm6YlooiYoTqKGHsNynmSsOGEsuBEg4M/I am a senior pursuing Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University.I currently work as a research assistant in the Robotics Institue at Carnegie Mellon, where my role focuses on mechanical system development for various robotic platforms. Before joining Carnegie Mellon, I pursued soft robotic sensor development at the University of Colorado, Boulder.Prior to my roles in academia, I was active duty in the United States Air Force as a Radio Frequency Systems Supervisor. This work included technical repair and maintenance on several ground to air and satellite communication platforms, vehicle communication systems, and man portable radio systems. I gained experience working in teams of multinational military and civilian personnel while stationed at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom, as well as Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. While stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, my primary roles were focused around training other members on techniques to fabricate antennas for successful long distance communications in mountain and wooded terrains.
