●Repairs and maintains electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks at customer locations inaccordance with operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications.●Reads job order and observes and listens to truck operation. Communicates with the organization to determine the malfunction and to plan work procedures. Researches the parts needed for job, and estimates the extent of repairs needed.●Utilizes detailed engineering drawings and schematics to operate, diagnose, troubleshoot andrepair equipment.●Strictly adheres to OSHA requirements for working in industrial environments to ensure no work related accidents or incidents occur.

● Research and write work procedures for Cleaning and Inspections of various Steam Turbinecomponents.● Anticipate repair parts, consumables and tooling need for upcoming and In-Progress jobs, and order to ensure everything in on hand for work to progress uninterrupted.

The NSME serves as TRF’s interface with NRMD-KB Code 105.2; NRMD-NORFOLK and with NNPTU Charleston for control of work. I am required to provide recommendations to NRMD-KB regarding submission of User Activity Comment (UAC) sheets as a means of formally tracking NRMD-KB’s review and concurrence of TRF’s planned work while maintaining a formal, auditable tracking process to coordinate NRMD-KB review and concurrence of issued TWDs prior to release of a WAF. I am also required to provide shop specific training as requested for TRF production shops and quarterly for Code 305. Training includes visual indicators depicting shop specific work areas requiring a discussion on the program requirements, necessity to maintain strict compliance with the requirements of the SSSR, Technical Work Document and WAF requirements how to proceed when a problem or potential problem is detected and development of a questioning attitude.

Operate/ Maintain/ Repair the nuclear power plant and associated susystems on a nuclear powered submarine. Provide Quality Assurance Inspector oversight for SUBSAFE repairs and maintenance through out the submarine. Train junior personnel in operations, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for all nuclear systems and subsystems/ support systems.
