This role involved managing a global team of ~80 people which I managed across NA, APAC, LATAM and EMEA covering solution architecture, project management and service design and implementation.

This role was based within the Solution Design Authority who are collectively responsible and accountable for the end to end solutions delivered to meet business needs.

The core responsibilities of this role encompassed the delivery of technical solutions for clients. This included implementation, testing, and support of a wide variety of computer networks.

This role involved working with a number of clients on behalf of a local network solution provider. The project work involved was diverse and demanding, with a strong element of project management required in order to meet client deadlines.

This role was one during which core networking competencies were developed and enhanced. Client work was varied and encompassed small organisations with relatively simple technical requirements, to large national networks where down time was limited and there was no tolerance to interruption. There was a mixture of pre-sales technical support and post-sales implementation of solutions for customers.

The position involved the management of the internal infrastructure for Desktop & Serverss, Voice and Data. The key areas of responsibility have been outlined below:
