While at the Roswell Police Department my rank was Police Officer and I was assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division. During my time there I completed the Georgia Mandate course at the Clayton County Regional Academy and also assisted in Corrections. I left the Roswell Police Department to pursue a better career opportunity with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.

My position with the ATF was that of Criminal Investigator / Special Agent and I was assigned to the Firearms Trafficking Group. In this position I developed and assisted with several federal firearms law violation cases and presented these cases to the United States Attorney’s Office for prosecution. During my time in this position I complete a fourteen-week Criminal Investigations Training Course at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick, Georgia. I also qualified and obtained Top Secret clearance. When I left the ATF I wanted to go back into uniform patrol work.

Cookeville, Tennessee

While at the Cookeville Police Department I was a Police Officer assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division. In addition to standard patrol duties I also assisted FTO and K-9 officer training. I completed Crime Scene Investigation training which also allowed me to assist the Criminal Investigations Division with crime scene processing. Another secondary duty was department armorer once I completed Glock armor training. I left the Cookeville Police Department when offered a position with the ATF in Atlanta, Georgia.

Baxter, Tennessee

The brief time I spent at the Baxter Police Department was spent assisting the agency as a part-time uniformed patrol officer. This was a very small department and I worked different shifts to allow full time officers to enjoy their days off. I left to accept a full time position with the Cookeville Police Department.

Cookeville, Tennessee

This is where I got my start as a uniformed officer. I was sworn in as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff and was assigned to work alongside full time Deputy Sheriffs that worked on patrol. This was required of every Reserve Deputy with a minimum monthly time on duty to retain the assignment. I received my introductory training in patrol functions as well as ASP baton, firearms skills, defensive tactics and OC spray. I stopped being a Reserve deputy when I accepted a full-time position with the Cookeville Police Department.
