I'm humbled and grateful to have received the esteemed "The Service Above Self Award!" On July 10, 2014, this award was presented to me by the International President of Rotary, Gary C.K. Huang from Taipei, Taiwan. Gary himself, is one of a small number of Rotarians to have received this award. President Huang's bio refers to this award as "Rotary's Highest Honor!"This honor extends far beyond my accomplishments, to the success of many other Rotary Clubs, institutions, and individuals in Eastern Nebraska, Southwestern Iowa, and beyond, through our synergistic efforts. Development and operation of a campaign for President of The United States of America.Served as a liaison among Alan Keyes, Campaign Manager, Deputy Campaign Manger, Press Secretary, Scheduler, Political Director, Development (fund-raising), State Directors, and most importantly, grass roots supporters, utilizing blogs at a time when the internet was young. Frequently traveled with Alan Keyes (sometimes just the two of us), and maintained archive of video and audio recordings, utilizing those media in National Development and broadcast strategy.Sometimes substituted, representing the candidate when scheduling conflicts arose.Ambassador Keyes has a brilliant mind, is uniquely morally grounded, and possesses unmatched communication skills.
