The Inventor in Paul came out when he was just 12 years old. Using parts from an old washing machine he built a go cart with a two-speed transmission, Wash and Spin. After graduating from SJSU with a degree in Aeronautical Operations, Paul landed a job as a sales engineer with Fisher and Porter Co., selling flowmeters to the budding semiconductor industry. After two years at Fisher Paul started his first company, Integrated Flow Systems, Inc. where he sold his own unique gas systems to the Semiconductor industry. Over the next eight years he was awarded twelve patents for flow control products. In 1986 he sold this IP to Swagelok Co., one of America’s largest privately held companies. After spending three years building a home and R&D center in the Santa Cruz mountains Paul restarted IFS Inc. IFS began manufacturing a new line of ultra-high purity flow control products for the semiconductor industry, he was awarded 14 more patents. In 1996, Mr. Eidsmore sold the company’s IP to Swagelok once again and soon after started IFS LLC with a few of his industry colleagues. In 2007 IFS LLC was successfully sold to Advanced Integrated Technologies which later merged with Ultra Clean Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: UCTT). When deciding what to do next, his son Thomas came to him with the idea of creating new advanced products for the fast growing truck, van, and utility vehicle market. Products that would bring these vehicles into the 21st century. Masterhaul LLC was formed, a partnership with his son. Paul has three patents awarded and one pending under this venture.
