Commissioning Engineer
CurrentEmployed as a CE&I Commissioning Engineer, member of a multi-disciplined team carrying out testing activities, in line with the Sellafield Ltd commissioning standard and support arrangements. Tasked with the commissioning of the electrical services and associated systems and equipment to enable us to securely remove spent nuclear fuel from an ageing process in a safe and controlled manner. Elevated to classified status with limited supervision due to exhibiting expertise across all activities, completing the mentor guide and becoming an Electrically nominated person. Responsibilities: - Carrying out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning.- Highlighting areas of concern or faults/problems via correct channels.- Production of test documentation. - Input Risk Assessment & Safe System of Work. - Identification of faults & ability to propose and implement solutions.- Application and removal of temporary commissioning aids.- Electrical Nominated Person. - Organisation of Commissioning Technicians and support resources.- Person Organising Work (POW).
