Raised on South Island high country merino property Wairau Valley, Marlborough.Privileged to have worked on three north island iconic stations Tautane (Hawkes Bay), Ohine wairua (Taihape), Puketiti (King Country) for seven years prior to completing university degree, then advancing to a career in Banking. A Banking career to date includes seven years as an Agribusiness lender at Senior Manager level primarily across the Dairy and Sheep/Beef/Deer sectors. Ten years in ASB Global Markets (2007-2017), as a Senior Dealer specialising in Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate risk management for corporate investment property and corporate agribusiness customers. Mandated to understand financial markets, identify and manage/mitigate key risks, and formulate strategies specific to strategy, treasury policy and risk appetite. Being passionate for property, in 2016 stepped away from Financial Markets across to Property, where I am responsible for ASB’s Property Finance (commercial property and development lending) across Waikato and Bay of Plenty region.
