I currently support multiple plants in our Fliexible Packaging Division providing Human Resource support and ensuring our strategic committments to the business are met.

Lead the Human Resource department and provide HR support to our sheet fed manufacturing plant and its associates.

This International Paper facility was sold to Oracle Packaging in September 2002. I was part of the transition team and remained with the facility as HR Manager and Safety Manager after the sale.

Lead the Human Resources department in to support manufacturing and fully engage 150 hourly and salaried team members in a folding carton facility. Primary duties include facilitating change in the organization and ensuring policies and procedures contribute to the overall business strategy. Develop and train team members in behavior based safety initiatives and adhere to Facility environmental permits.

Coached 1000 employees in a 2000 employee facility. My primary duties were to communicate both employee and management concerns, resolve issues, interpret and revise policy and strategies, facilitate change in the organization,and ensure policies and procedures contribute to the overall business strategy. I also have excellent knowledge of the products, processes, and regulations that govern the manufacture of these products.

I started my career responsible for 40 production employees in a towel cut and sew operation. My primary responsibilities included employee relations and the overall production, efficiency, quality, and safety of employees and equipment on the shift. After 2 years I was promoted to HR Manager representing part of the complex where I coached 700 employees in a 1300 employee unionized textile facility. My primary responsibilities included contract and policy interpretation and adjustment of grievances as defined in the Collective Bargaining agreement as well as all Generalist functions of Human Resources. I was also responsible for the overall safety program and training of the plant personnel as required by OSHA guidelines.
