Drug delivery devices were designed and developed for clinical trials and launch into global markets. Worked across a number of sites as a Clinical Engineer (1993-1997) within the West Midlands Regional Health Authority on a structured training scheme - leading to national registration (and DipIPEM). Promoted to Senior Clinical Engineer in October 1997, and assumed responsibility for the management of a clinical gait analysis facility at the Birmingham Regional Rehabilitation Centre.

As an integral part of my Honours Degree Course at Loughborough University of Technology, I undertook a one-year Industrial Training Placement (IMechE accredited) at British Gas North Thames.
