Contracts & Procurement Manager, Kitimat Lng ProjectApache Corporation Dec 2011 - Aug 2016Houston, Texas AreaResponsible for the Procurement and Contracting functions for the Kitimat LNG Project in Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada. This position was initially part of an Apache Project Team, with Apache as operator of the Kitimat Project. In July 2013, Chevron assumed operatorship of the Kitimat Project and I was seconded by Apache to the Chevron Kitimat Project Team in the same position. The primary focus of the job was the development and negotiation of a hybrid (lump sum and reimbursable cost elements) EPC Contract with a joint venture comprised of two leading international EPC firms, JGC and Fluor. After the EPC Contract was executed, the job focus transitioned to the oversight of the EPC Contractor’s procurement and subcontracting activities, as well as the overall administration of the multi-billion dollar EPC Contract. Managed a Procurement and Contracting organization of approximately 25 to 30 Chevron and Apache personnel. -
