In addition to his senior client roles, he has held senior executive management roles with both the Canadian firm and at the Global Network level. He was the leader of the Toronto audit and assurance practice from 2008 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, Paul was a senior member of the Global Assurance Leadership team in the role of Head of Reporting and Global Chief Accountant for the Global Assurance practice, a position based out of London in the UK. The role involved many global network responsibilities including sitting on the Global Assurance Leadership Team, leading the global accounting consulting services function for IFRS and representing the firm at senior global clients around the world. Paul returned full time to the Canadian practice in July 2017 to take on the roles of GRP on a major US listed client and National Assurance Risk and Quality Leader for the Canadian firm.Paul has gained significant experience in dealing with senior executives and Board members from some of the firm’s largest clients in North America, through his GRP roles and globally through the Global Chief Accountant role.He has also gained significant experience in dealing with public entities in the mining sector with Australian, South American and African based operations.
