I have worked in the NFP world as well as for the state and county human service system. My passion currently relates to integrating services across systems and across the community. I am working with my talented team to build an organization that is data driven and leverages technology to better meet our community's needs. Our team is building new pathways out of poverty for families with a sincere focus on equity and inclusion.I have a reputation for innovation, building healthy, and fixing, work cultures. I am also proud that several people I have supervised are now leading other counties. Currently,I am working wih many partners to enhance housing options for vulnerable populations and we are creating a community wide housing impact plan. I also worked to pass legislation last year that provides bonding dollars for behavioral health crisis centers and supportive housing so we are able to create an actual continuum of care in Minnesota for people with behavioral health needs.I am responsible for 600 staff and a budget of over $100 million.
