Paul Foley retired from the airline industry to spend time with his family and to focus on family investments. As a private investor based in Scottsdale, AZ, he manages investments in real estate and publicly traded securities. His current activities follow a career in aviation where he held a variety of leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer at Rectrix Aviation and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Mesa Air Group. From 1999 - 2008, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of MAIR Holdings (parent of Mesaba Airlines and Big Sky Airlines). From 1974 through 1999, he held executive and senior level positions at Atlas Air, Continental Airlines (Chelsea Catering) and American Airlines (LSG/Sky Chefs).Mr. Foley earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and an (MBA) from Southern Methodist University.He served on the advisory board of Fareportal, a New York based, airline technology company from 2014 thru 2020.He served on the Board of Directors at Zomax Inc, a publicly traded international, manufacturing company. He was on the Audit, Executive, and Compensation committees and he chaired the compensation committee.He has held multiple positions at The Regional Airline Association including Board Chairman.He was Chairman of The Board at The Courage Center - a nationally acclaimed resource provider for people with disabilities, in Golden Valley, MN. He held leadership positions in Washington, DC, Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago and in the "Twin Cities"​ – with The United Way. He also worked with The International Rescue Committee in Washington, DC. He remains active in the Cornell University and Boston Latin School Alumni Associations, the Business Round Table and The Wings Club. Mr. Foley is a frequent guest speaker and has facilitated numerous discussions and panels, as an industry expert.
