During the national search fill the HR Business Unit Lead position in Soda Springs, I was invited to lead and provide overall HR support for site that employs approximately 400 direct employees and 400 contractors. Partnered with leadership in areas such as organization design, employee relations, performance management, leadership coaching, talent development, integration and workforce planning. Developed and led the site’s inclusion and diversity strategy resulting in awareness and corrective action for issues of incivility, communication, recognition and developmental opportunities.

Provided strategic and analytical support to the elemental phosphorus production facility and phosphate mines while ensuring compliance with all accounting policies and procedures. Led the plant Supply Chain team (Procurement and Logistics), as well as oversaw the energy management needs for the North America business. - Set vision and strategy for the site by leading cross-functional teams and utilizing competitive intelligence that resulted in changing the strategy of the site to have a greater focus on being the socially responsible supplier of the highest value phosphorus.- Co-led the negotiations of phosphate ore sales that led to over $40M incremental sales.- Optimized site resources which lowered unit cost by 1.5% from 2016 high to more than offset headwinds from higher market prices.
