- Commissions, troubleshoots, repairs, and analyzes Utility & commercial inverters, PV Solar equipment and customer site equipment in the field, via email, telephone.- Develops a detailed knowledge of SMA’s and other Utility & commercial inverter products, associated PV accessories, site equipment and third party accessories that are sold by SMA or installed at a customer’s site for use with the inverters.- Maintains a working knowledge of the applicable National Electric and Electrical safety code(s) (NEC, NFPA70E, NESC, OSHA)- Regularly works with high voltage DC electricity, Low & Medium voltage three phase power, SCADA or 3rd party monitoring and the relevant software and firmware of the inverters site equipment.- Coordinates work with sub-contractors and verifies completion to according to contract requirements and quality standards.

- Make Safety procedures and policies the main priority on site- Gain a thorough and working understanding of both the 600v and 27.6kV Distribution Systems- Prepared material and tool orders based on the Issued for Construction Drawing set- Analyze and Ensure correct cable lengths were procured and ordered for underground collector system- Communicate with the IBEW foreman on site to co-ordinate Racking Assembly and Electrical Component installation and troubleshooting as required- Oversee site testing and commissioning such as VLF Testing on the 27.6kV Power System, Insulation Resistance Testing and Final Performance Testing- Inspect final product to ensure quality workmanship- Worked within a provided schedule to properly allocate manpower

- Coordinate Electrical work on 3 Solar farms (10MW, 6.5MW, 6MW)- Interpret daily reports of site performance and create action plans accordingly- Work closely with Electrical sub-contractors to resolve any electrical concerns on site- Communicate with the client and provide written feedback regarding on site electrical troubleshooting practices- Supervise on site to ensure a high quality product from the sub-contractors- Ensure all workers on site are properly oriented with site and company specific safety policies
