I oversaw all Operations functions in the South of the country for Sinclair Collis. The role being a duel role of strategic planning and hands on interfacing with both staff and customers to ensure a delivery of service standards and target achievement at all times.I have successfully managed operations during the transition caused by Governmental legislation which banned our core business (Cigarette Vending), culminating in reorganizing the business to target new markets, which resulted in Year on Year growth over the last 3 years.Home based, I also operated within five depot locations south of Birmingham which supported our field staff activities. Responsible for all staff matters including target achievement, route planning, recruitment and all disciplinary procedures in consultation with HR. During periods of decline of the business I was responsible for preparing a program of staff assessments to reduce our staff levels, this included panel participation and individual meetings with staff to confirm the outcome of the procedures.Monitoring performance on a Daily/Weekly basis, communications with all staff and the directors was essential to ensure goals were achieved. As part of this process any customer complaints/issues were passed on to myself which would result in either a call or visit from myself to resolve.
