Current• Act as liaison between the General Contractor’s construction team and Microsoft GFS DC team members which include GNS, MSIT, Security, Facilities, Operations and Engineering and Microsoft vendors. This facilitates the coordination requirements and schedules to successfully mesh the physical construction of the Datacentre with the Microsoft GFS DC team, build activities to enable a smooth, efficient handover to Data Centre Operations by the phased required dates.• Involved in all aspects of the project scope from Design Specification, Planning, Tender issue, Contractor selection, Cost Management, Value Engineering, Change Control, to the Final Account Negotiation, Client Handover and Project Closeout.• Promoting the Microsoft approach to best in class Health & Safety culture, involved in deriving and coordinating H&S, QA/QC and ensuring its deliverables are planned and adhered to up to handover stage.• Managing the Integration project life cycle out to program closeout.• Currently engaged on the next phase (4 x Colos) Data Centre (17.6 megawatt)• Have been involved in all Team Value Engineering exercises, striving for achievement of cost targets across all disciplines which have seen reductions in cost per megawatt since project inception.• Effectively lead and coordinated project teams of up to 30+ members to solve critical issues in a time-sensitive environment Show less
