Paul Davies is an accomplished executive with 25 years diverse experience in the financial services and consulting fields. He brings strategic and enterprise framework thinking along with a business focused, delivery mindset to establish or uplift new capabilities across large, diverse organisations. Currently the Head of Privacy Risk at ANZ, Paul oversees Privacy risk, Ethics risk, and Records Management risk across the enterprise. He is instrumental in enabling the business to deliver on their strategic priorities while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and protecting customer data privacy.In his previous roles as the Head of Enterprise Data Governance (Acting) and Head of Enterprise Data Integrity, Paul was a key leader in establishing and operating ANZ's data governance framework, in particular, he developed and led the implementation of ANZ's approach to data quality management. During his diverse career, Paul has a proven record of successful leadership in data privacy / data governance / data integrity management, project delivery and governance, and business strategy development and implementation. He has particular expertise in establishing and embedding new capabilities where previously there were no or limited standards, governance or programs in place.
