About Paul Gibbs

Chartered Civil Engineer with sixteen years geotechnical experience covering site investigations, urban geotechnics, geo-environmental projects, offshore site investigations and offshore windfarm development/design. Began my geotechnical career working at Whitbybird/Ramboll and then spent seven years at DONG/Orsted working on projects such as Walney Extension, Hornsea Offshore Windfarms 01 and 02, Bay State Wind (Massachusetts) and Ocean Wind (New Jersey) offshore windfarms. Also spent two years being the Team Lead for the Orsted Geotechnical Site Assessment team. Recently started at Wood Thilsted Partners as a Lead Geotechnical Engineer. Specialties: Management and contract administration of onshore and offshore site investigations: delivery of onshore and offshore site assessments, parameter derivation and overall project delivery. Also gained good experience in line management and leadership qualities.
