Leading one of the largest and most successful YMCA associations in the nation with an annual budget of over $40 million and a team of over 800 employees that impacts over 80,000 lives daily. Responsible for the strategic planning and direction to drive the financial and operational growth of seven Y program sites and major branches, including the new Hale Family YMCA, a dynamic urban Y branch in the city of Quincy, and the Emilson YMCA, a 30-acre suburban Y that includes a new state-of-the-art Outdoor Aquatic Center and vibrant Arts Center. Established fundraising strategies to increase annual campaign donations from $1.3MM to $5.2MM and raised over $20MM in capital funds to expand the Y's impact, with over $65MM in new facility development and capital projects. Expanded the South Shore YMCA to include the South Shore Y Natural Science Center and preschool, the Germantown Neighborhood Center & Food Pantry, two certified Early Learning Centers, a Gymnastics Training Center, a Community Teaching Farm, and made major capital improvements to expand the historic Y Camp Burgess & Hayward overnight camps on 300 acres of Cape Cod. Championed the new Staystrong cancer support program, bringing free Y membership, camps, childcare, and other wraparound services to hundreds of cancer survivors and patients on the South Shore.

Responsible for full-service, 90,000 square-foot facility with 10-acre day camp island with an annual budget of $18 million. Increased revenue from $2.2 million to $6 million. Led the Y legal, construction, and design teams through regulatory process to develop a $25 million, 90,000 square-foot YMCa branch and a 19.5 acre land purchase. Raised $15 million in major gift and capital fundraising against an original capital campaign goal of $8 million, the second largest on the North Shore. Developed partnership with the Boston Ballet to include four ballet studios in the new YMCA. Negotiated a collaboration with Partners Healthcare Inc for 3,500 square-foot physical therapy space.

Oversaw three major YMCA branches with budgets totaling $6.5MM and staff of over 450 people. Overall operational responsibility for full service YMCA buildings, 27 acre camp site, board and staff development, strategic planning and fiscal development. Secured the largest individual gift for YMCA of Greater Boston, $1.5 million. Developed concepts of a model YMCA to include and support individuals with disabilities. Quadrupled Y membership and more than doubled overall revenue. Successfully completed capital campaign, exceeding goal of $2.5 million.

Founder of this 501c3 nonprofit organization designed to provide facilities and inclusive, adaptive programming for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities with the goal to help everyone, regardless of physical ability, could feel welcome. Raised $2,000,000 in capital through individual, corporate and foundational donations. Developed an impassioned board of directors of senior greater Boston business professionals. Negotiated partnership with Springfield College for programming and planning of a national training and education center.

Oversaw full-service sports, fitness, and aquatic facilities and program budget for this leading community center, including camps, specialized fitness and health education development as well as overall facility operations and promotion. Led fundraising and development efforts for new fitness center. Worked closely with Board of Directors, Budget & Finance Committee and Program Committees. Developed and promoted first non-hospital based cardiac maintenance program on the North Shore in partnership with North Shore Medical Center. Recipient of President's Award for outstanding contribution.
