My company is GOROSH GENERAL MARINE, an industrial marine equipment specialist with a mobile and shop service based in Nanaimo B.C. I generally work as a contractor providing a range of services to vessels and equipment within a 200 km radius of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. We are equipped to service all mechanical, electrical and structural aspects of most vessels, including fabrication, and repair, as well as design and installation of structural components and machinery. We have mobile welding equipment for working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel and our service truck with 4 ton crane is ideal for transporting and hoisting engines, marine gears, generators, winches, tanks, masts as well as structural components. Our 2500 sq.ft. shop features an overhead crane and is fully equipped for fabrication, assembly and repair. We have been a CWB Certified Structural Steel Fabricator since 2005. We have provided support for many customers with operations covering the B.C. coast and interior, extending to Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan. We provide support for local tug and barge companies, remote camp barge operators and for BC Ferry Corporation. My emphasis is on commercial and industrial marine service, with fully mobile capabilities, applying my broad range of experience to provide realistic and timely solutions for my customers.

Coordinated the outfitting of barges, cranes and rigging for submerged log salvage operation on Arrow Lake between Nakusp and Castelgar, B.C. Chief sonar imaging technician and sonar boat operator for GPS mapping of salvage areas.

Joined my father and brother in operating the family business, repaired and maintained fleet of conventional and hydraulic truck cranes 10 to 90 tons capacity, acting occasionally as rigger, boom truck operator, and crane operator. Began welding and fabricating for the company and other customers while managing the steel yard and salvage metals division.
