As Head of Global Fixed Income & Currency at Schroders I led a team of 18 portfolio managers, analysts, strategists and quant researchers, grew the business to c$45bn of assets across a broad range of global mandates and funds, investing across all fixed income asset classes - rates, asset allocation, credit, FX.Led the client interaction for a global client base having successfully pitched for and won business from institutional pension funds, official institutions, intermediaries, insurance companies and retail prospects across Asia, Europe and the US. Focus on understanding clients’ needs and partnering with them to ensure the right products and solutions are delivered. Lead portfolio manager responsible for investment strategy, investment process and risk management of the business, together with ongoing market and portfolio updates with clients. Initiated Schroders’ sovereign sustainability offering, creating a framework to include sovereign sustainability in investment processes and launching sustainable sovereign & credit funds. Buy-rated by a number of investment consultants. Track record of strong team leadership and management, in addition to management committee and board experience.
