I have worked for WCF LTD – WCF Fuels North East since 2004. The opportunities and training that WCF LTD have provided me with have enabled me to progress in my career here at WCF Fuels North East.I originally started within in the sales team and quickly realised that I had a good understanding of the routing and logistics and moved over to the transport team. Taking the lead with increasing transport efficiency I became the Transport Manager looking after the fleet of wagons and looking after the drivers, including training. Again, after a period of time and more opportunities I became the Operations manager, still looking after all aspects of the transport but also taking on the role of being responsible for the Health and Safety as well as the daily operational tasks of our two sites. February 2023, I became the General Manager of WCF Fuels North East.
