Was a part of the company's on-site supervision team in a JV with HOK for the PIF Tower, which forms the centrepiece of the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) , a 385 metre high, 80 Storey Building with a Floor Area of approximately 245,000m2 . The Value of the Project was circa $ 1 billion . The scheme was Part Fixed Price Lump Sum and Part Re-Measurable. The Construction Contract was based on the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction Contract 1999(Red Book) . The Client was Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund.Carried out the duties of a site based Senior Quantity Surveyor dealing with Monthly Interim Payment Applications, Checking and Agreeing Re-measures with the Main Contractor. Examined and Evaluated Change Orders/Variations for Final Account Purposes. Provided Cost/Contract Advice to the Client when required. Processed Monthly Cost Reports. Managed a Team of Quantity Surveyor's to meet various deadline's on the project. Prepared Draft Final Accounts for discussion with the Main Contractor.In addition worked intermittently in the company's Head Office assisting their Quantity Surveying Department . While there I was involved Pre and Post Contract on schemes in the Industrial , Commercial, Health and Public Sectors when required.
