Work with senior stakeholders across the Group to formulate appropriate on-going insurance arrangements, ensuring that the various insurance programmes and schemes are fit for purpose, placed on time and within budget.Responsible for accurate and timely direction regarding insurance related matters including but not limited to, the interpretation of policy wording and guidance to all business areas to ensure adherence to insurers’ requirements for operational activities.Work with key stakeholders to identify risks which cannot be transferred through the procurement of insurance and assist to identify and where appropriate implement operational controls.Lead proactive discussions with key stakeholders across the Group to explore and where appropriate implement operational measures and practices to mitigate against the risk of increasing insurance premiums e.g. Motor.Collate and manage the necessary information required to support the on-going administration of the Group’s insurances and where required work with appointed Broker to make mid-term amendments to cover.Accountable for managing insurance claims by liaising with key internal stakeholders across the Group, Brokers and Insurers, in order to afford Insurers the most advantageous position regarding the defence of a claim.Support the growth and diversification through Mergers & Acquisitions by providing timely and effective guidance on all insurance related matters including changes to risk profile and opportunities to capitalise on savings through consolidation / separation on Group policies.Preparation and delivery of internal summaries, reports and presentations relating to the Group’s insurance portfolio to key stakeholders and other identified parties.Responsible for the annual review, negotiation and placement of the contract for the provision of ‘Broking Services’ to the Group.

Provide on-going support to all major projects across the business Monitor and report on buyers adherence to the procurement policy and associated process Design and deliver a shared service model across the group ensuring that a consistant and ‘best practice’ approach to procurement is adopted at all timesEngage with ‘Heads’ of main purchasing areas to drive best commercial practice Negotiate and maintain service levels with other teams / subject matter experts e.g. Risk, Information Security etc in order to manage buyers expectations
