I have worked within the finance department of the company since 1996.My role over the years have changed over the years due the growth of the company.In the earlier years I was the only person in finance and my role included raising the information for the invoices to be produced,working out the driver's time sheets,monitoring diesel stocks and covering the transport department after the night shift had finished until the day shift arrived.This included making sure loads went out,ringing up depots if there were problems,dealing with the driver's paperwork and re-scheduling loads if required which required communicating with the warehouse shift managers.I was then part of the first internal team audit team set up to help the company gain it's ISO certificate.Currently I am part of a much larger finance team which produce weekly invoices to our clients via an MIS database which in the raised through Word and the input onto SAP.I deal with customer queries and also have knowledge of the AP side of the department as I covered this for 6 months while a college was off.

Processing of invoices throughout the region by allocating nominal codes to the invoices and preparing for payments.Making weekly and monthly payment runs to suppliers.

Ran a milkround with my parents from the ordering of stock,delivering to customers,entering alterations onto a computer system for producing the bills for the customers.Collecting the money for the deliveries and cashing up for the bank.
