As the Global Chief Innovation Officer, I develop and implement comprehensive innovation strategies aligned with the organization’s goals. I lead and manage a team of innovative professionals to drive the successful execution of the strategy. Notably, I spearheaded the launch of the organization’s first innovation strategy, which led to significant revenue growth from new products and services. In addition to driving innovation within the organization, I established a worldwide innovation community spanning over 60 countries.

In this role, I identified and evaluated emerging technologies, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity while collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving the development of new products/services. Also, I conducted market research, monitored industry trends, and drove the organization’s innovation agenda to ensure the company remained competitive and relevant in the market.

I maintained utmost accountability for formulating the firm’s strategic plan, overseeing operations, and ensuring the organization’s goals were met. I collaborated with internal teams to optimize policies, assess risk profiles, and increase client retention. Furthermore, I delivered the first management dashboard for firm leadership while identifying areas for growth and mentoring a high-performing team.

As President of the Board of Directors, I provided strategic leadership and oversight to advance the organization’s mission of improving the lives of vulnerable children and families. I collaborated with the executive team to develop policies and programs that meet the community’s needs. Additionally, I worked to cultivate relationships with donors, volunteers, and community partners to increase support and awareness of the organization’s impact.

I supervised the organization’s risk and compliance strategies and worked with internal stakeholders to ensure policy adherence and achieve business objectives. Additionally, I led the development of corporate governance frameworks, established control mechanisms, and cultivated a culture of risk awareness across the organization.

In this role, I managed the company’s knowledge management systems to ensure effectiveness. I analyzed and evaluated market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats to the company. Additionally, I played a key role in guiding senior executives and management on strategic decision-making.

While serving in this role, I oversaw the development and implementation of effective risk management strategies. By working closely with stakeholders, I ensured the optimization of risk and profitability for the organization. Also, I collaborated with internal partners to provide seamless policy administration and increase client satisfaction.

As Chairman of the Public Company Task Force, I led a group of experts from business, academia and the accounting profession delivering recommendations for improvements in business reporting for public companies.
