Paul has 37 years post-professional qualification experience as a Landscape Architect. He established The Paul Hogarth Company in 1990 and since then has developed and grown the Practice to now employing 20 staff across three offices in Edinburgh, Belfast and Dublin. With assistance from Directors in Belfast and other senior staff, he continues to have responsibility for Practice management and development, while continuing to have a ‘hands on’ approach to all major project work. Paul has led TPHC’s extensive involvement in the field of Landscape Architecture Urban Design and Planning and has provided direct management input to most projects in these service areas. He also has considerable master-planning experience covering a wide range of projects including major leisure and tourism developments, exhibition / show-grounds, housing (including new sustainable village and settlement expansion projects) and educational establishments including colleges, secondary schools, and primary schools. He has experience of numerous Landscape and Environment related assignments, including Environmental Improvement Studies, Implementation Projects, Environmental Impact Assessment and has provided evidence and expert witness at many Public and Local Plan Inquiries.
