Strategic leadership of a $15M per year country program including Food Security, Education, Infrastructure, covering the full spectrum from emergency to development with particular focus on durable solutions. Operations in Darfur, Blue Nile, White Nile and Khartoum. Worked with bilateral donors including Danida, ECHO, EU, USAID/OFDA, Norad, Sida, IHA/government of Canada, Canadian Food Grains Bank and Bread for the World Germany. Worked with UN partnerships including UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP and UNDP.Member and two term Chair of Steering Committee for INGO Forum. Represented INGOs on Humanitarian Country Team, Durable Solutions Working Group and numerous other boards and working groups.

Taught Cross Cultural Experience (a 3 credit course) in 2012, 2013 and 2014, focusing on sustainable development, cross-cultural communication and cross-cultural conflict resolution.

Manager for Florida Hospital’s senior committee on strategic planning. Managed projects related to innovation, business development, marketing and market planning, strategic planning and knowledge management. Led development of Florida Hospital's 2014 Business Plan. Advised on Florida Hospital’s international programs in Ethiopia.

CEO/Administrator of Gimbie Adventist Hospital (70 beds), Gimbie Adventist College of Health Sciences and six rural clinics. Organization size of 250 staff including 6 physicians and hundreds of local and international volunteers. Provided strategic leadership for programs in Education, WASH, small-scale agriculture, livestock and nutrition, HIV/AIDs treatment and care, women’s care with special focus on maternal health, fistulas and uterine prolapse and general public health. Partners and donors included Norad, MSH, ICAP/Columbia University, Maternity Worldwide Denmark, UNICEF and Oregon Health and Science University. Extensive private fund raising through social media and speaking engagements in the United States. Implemented professional development strategies that provided higher levels of formal education for over 50 local staff.

Supervised a 7 member archaeological team (volunteers from U.S., local Jordanian workers) excavating and documenting extant remains of ancient civilizations.
