Participating in the development, testing and maintenance of OpenLink Endur risk management trading software (SQL using AVS & JVS scripting & Perl, PVCS & Rapid SQL). Responsible for the monitoring of critical systems and nightly processes used to reconcile trading between Shell and it’s brokers. Participating on the Help Desk response team (24/7) for Endur – responded to help center calls, investigated issues, evaluated responses, implemented fixes/enhancements (SQL using AVS scripting, Perl, ClearQuest). Participating in team interviewing/evaluating of potential new members, along with the on boarding and training of new members. Successfully implemented a program to conduct monthly developer/business analyst/trading manager meetings that helped create lines of communication in order to establish a sense of collaboration, set monthly deliver goals and helped the IT and business to deliver quality enhancements with few to no defects. Managed the core development team focused on delivering monthly software enhancements and defect updates for the trading business. Wrote and implemented a software developer’s handbook for the lifecycle of a defect/enhancement that helped in more than doubling the amount of defects/enhancements delivered during each monthly release cycle.
