    Working within R&D in the Speciality Polymer Group to develop new and innovative water based polymer products from initial concept to full scale production. This includes both conventional and inverse emulsion technologies.One of my primary areas and research interests is the development of Scott Bader thickeners (HASE, ASE, hydrolysable type polymers) in a water based emulsion system for a wide range of applications. One of these areas has lead to a patent being granted with myself and a fellow colleague as inventor.I am responsible for leading and driving multiple projects, both in the short and long term development of the business strategy, and for assisting production in any issues that may arise.Recently started to manage a 12-month undergraduate placement student who is working on a speculative piece of work to support our knowledge and understanding in an relatively new area for SB.
